I don't actually use this product as I guess they intend... I needed something to elevate my monitor and I like to store stuff in the "extra" space underneath. My desk is quite deep so my keyboard actually sits in front of the stand/drawer. I like to keep little items I need or use regularly in the drawer for easy access. Things like USB hub and cables to plug items in (like my camera or phone), headphones, microphone, note pads and pens, etc. It has worked perfectly for my needs.
