Got this mat today. First I was happy that it shipped folded like a taco and not rolled up. It flattened out well and hasn't been a problem. It is very clear and not frosted like most mats I've had were, but that doesn't matter to me. I'm in a home office on regular carpet about 1/2" thick and it holds fine, no shifting or anything.
It's not super thick and does seem to easily leave indentations if you stay in one place. I don't like that because if you just want to move a little your chair wants to roll back in the divots. It's supposedly has a 'no crack' guarantee. I work at my computer all day, so I'll definitely put it through it's paces, if anything changes I'll update this review.
