I DO use this as a stand for my laptop pc because I wanted to dissipate the heat from the pc. This stand is made from flimsy plastic and not very sturdy .....even for a 15 inch pc laptop. So to make it stable I had to glue rubber to the parts that the pc rests on. I also have to put my pc completely on top of the stand because it slips out of the ridge that is supposed to hold it. However, I still think it is worth it now that I have tweaked it....it is stable and I can still rotate it. Hopefully one day they will make one like this, but sturdier.
I would still recommend this to a friend.
