I was leery to purchase in light of the prior review, but given the price I couldn't say no. The table arrived with a dinged up box, but that is to be expected with freight shipping - and the driver had no problem helping get the box into my conference room. The actual table was in good condition with not a mark on it. It did take about an hour to put the table together, but I did it by myself with no problems. One of my neighbors helped me flip the table right side up and good to go. Yes, it is heavy, but it is an 8ft table! If it weren't heavy you would not expect it to last long at all, eh?I am very satisfied, it looks fantastic, and for the price (and free shipping) how can you go wrong!? No offense intended to the prior reviewer, but they must not have much of any experience with "some assembly required" furniture. I would highly recommend. We are a small law firm and it is perfect for our conferencing needs.
