We purchased this mat nearly two years ago. We waited to see how this mat held up to the test of time. This mat has lived up to its word! There isn't one crack. The mat has been supporting a 250 lb man for several hours each day. It is placed on shag carpet with an extra thick carpet pad. It is true that the pad will create a dimple where the wheels of your desk chair sit upon it. But it really isn't a problem, because you can simply move your chair slightly to the left or right and the old dimple will disappear. It's just the laws of physics. If you don't want dimples, then get a harder one, but then you risk getting cracks and having to throw it out.

We like this one so well, that we will be purchasing another one for my wife's office chair. Shipping was fast. They send the mat flat so you can use it right away! We've never had a problem with it slipping or moving around. Again, this mat has lasted the test of time! Other mats - that cost more would have been thrown out by now. Our gratitude goes to the manufacture of this chair mat. You won't go wrong with this one.
