RiverRidge Somerset 1-Door Floor Cabinet, White Review

We bought this cabinet for our bathroom, which is relatively small and had no place to store anything. The size is ideal if you are looking for something which will fit into a small space, and if you have a somewhat tall pedestal sink, it can manage to fit under part of the sink (that is why we chose this particular cabinet).

Assembly was a bit of a hassle but ultimately nothing terrible. Most of the parts fit where they were supposed to and everything was in the box, although the directions are pretty poor and we had to undo a couple mistakes along the way. Our drawer does not sit perfectly level and there is a small gap on one side as a result, but it's not very noticeable and wasn't a huge deal for us. The wood and finish is cheap, as you would expect in this price range, but the finished product feels fairly sturdy.

We have tile floor in our bathroom and the cabinet doesn't sit 100% level -- there is a slight wobble to it but it is pretty insignificant. On our wooden floors outside of the bathroom, there was less wobble.

The hardware looks quite nice in person and the overall unit is attractive. Ultimately we are pretty happy with the purchase given the price and the limited scope with which we had to look. If you are restricted on space and looking for a cheap but elegant looking storage solution, this is a solid choice.

Flash Furniture Hercules Series Capacity Big and Tall Black Mesh Office Chair with Arms, 400-Pound Review

Chair arrived in good condition and on time. It was easy to put together, and was probably the most solid chair I have owned. Everything felt heavy-duty and metal parts were thick (I am not an expert, but some parts felt like cast iron). Back (not seat) reclined very nicely as well. On that basis, it deserves 5 stars.

However, the cushion was too short (rather surprising in a chair rated for up to 400 pounds), so neither my wife (5'9") nor I (6') could sit in it comfortably. Width was fine (wife is very wide on bottom and still found it ok), but we both sat too far forward in it to be comfortable, so back it is going. (Which is really too bad, since it is such a nice chair, particularly for the price). Cushion was a bit on the firm side, but not really uncomfortable, and I am sure it would have softened longer term. Deduct 2 stars.

In the event the manufacturer reads reviews, fix on this should be rather simple: an adjustable back. Not moving up/down, but rather that lets us back it up (push it out). As it is, it pushes us forward, and if we could have made it go back a few inches, then you probably would have had a really happy customer and 5 star rating.

Wow! This lamp exceeded my expectations -- needed something to fit under the hutch of my desk but yet be tall enough for laptop to sit under it. This lamp surely fit the bill. The satin finish blended beautifully with the satin finish handles on the drawers of my desk. This lamp's light is on a dimmer switch, so the least brightness is great at night as a night light when desk is not in use (if desired), and it's full brightness covers the work area beautifully. It's adjustable -- up, down, back and forward. It has such an elegant appearance and, even though the price was not exceedingly expensive, it surely passes for an elegant, expensive lamp. So glad I found this lamp. Only time will tell if the LED bulbs last as long as they should. I trust the Adesso company will not let me down. [Make sure you purchase from Amazon -- much less expensive at $127.50 instead of $169.00]
