I've had this for several months now and I find this to be a great little desk for my laptop --that also doubles as a TV tray table. It has a pneumatic post with a lever that raises the desk. The lever also lowers the desk but only when you simultaneously apply a lot of pressure to the top of the desk, such as by sitting on it while lifting the lever. The table top swivels and there's no mechanism to stop that, but it's really a minor concern as it's not that sensitive to push. The wheels lock, which is a nice feature.

Figuring out how to put this table together was not smooth going though, as the instructions are wordless pictures. You would not know from the instructions that a rubber mallet is required for inserting the casters, so I had initially used one rather gingerly and the casters would not fit and stay seated. After a lot of VERY heavy banging on the mallet to get the casters to fit inside the legs, as well as tightening of some metal washer rings that were too wide and initially prevented the casters from fitting, the casters were able to fit tightly and securely.

So, after a lot of maneuvering during setup, the casters are holding, the height is just right and everything is working well, so I'm a very happy camper.
