I ordered this desk having put many pieces of IKEA furniture together, so I was familiar with the hardware provided with the desk. When I opened the box it was clear that the pressed wood was as cheap as it possibly could be, but I just need something to help me get through the day without back/shoulder pain so I didn't care. The problem is that it was impossible to put together. There are pegs and screws but the screws are intended to go into plastic inserts and refused to hold. I am sending this back. Much as I really needed something simple and quick this has turned into an impossible task. Still searching for the right solution to convert my standard-issue office desk into a standing desk.
