I spend a lot of time sitting down, and I've gone through many different office chairs. This is by far the best office chair I've ever used. I noticed that most of the high-back leather office chairs I've used did not give me a good lower back support. This ergonomic chair design gives you firm support starting from lower back and all they way up to your neck. I noticed that it also corrects my posture and "forces" me to sit upright with my back straight and chest out. By comparison, I tend to sit chest caved-in and butt-forward on most other chairs. The duo-back rests and neck pads have some kind of spring hinge on them and they move with you. So it supports you well even if you shift a bit as you work on your chair. It's great! The duo-back concept does seem to work quite well here. I also went to a local "Relax the Back" store where they have a bunch of ergonomic chairs to check them all out. I prefer my DuoRest chair over all the other chairs I've tried.

When adjuting, there is a button (hard to notice) just under the head rest. I did not notice this button for a few days and thought that I could only adjust it using a screw underneath. The head rest will not go up high enough unless you adjust using the button.

Now the description says "leather," but I'm quite certain that this is leatherette or vinyl. It's okay, but definitely not as good looking as many high-back leather office chairs. So it's not as good lookin, but my back is much more important than that. I also have several other Duorest (without the head rests) for my staff, and they definitely prefer it to the nice leather task chairs they had before.

Update: I was in a store in Los Angeles that carried the entire line of these Duorest chairs. I tried the DUOREST CHAIRMAN which I thought about getting next. On the Chairman, the headrest is fixed and the height cannot be adjusted as you can on the Leader version. Also the arm rests are fixed and can't be adjusted on the CHAIRMAN; they can be adjusted in all directions on the Leader. The Chairman has a little bit of leather on the arm rests, but the overall feel is "cheap" on the Chairman; it is not worth the extra price for the Chairman; it also has some kind of cheap wooden plank as a spine that can't be noticed from pictures shown. In short, DUOREST LEADER > DUOREST CHAIRMAN. Leader is better, more ergonomic, looks better, and less expensive than the Chairman. So I'm getting another Leader so I have one for both office and home.
