It extremely comfortable! For people that are short and whose feet normally dangle on these, and struggle to get them to close let me give you GOOD NEWS - not an issue! This is the first recliner I did not feel like I was doing any kind of work out to get out of. Reclines easy and folds down easy. If you are short you may need to check to make sure it clicked in place before rocking in it, or it may recline.

The only issue I had was getting the back on. I can't tell you how it was accomplished, two family members that are carpenters finally got it on after awhile.
