I must have looked at over 6-7 different iPad bluetooth keyboards before settling on this one. Initially bought the iPad generation 1 version of this for my wife, but was looking for something a little better when I got an iPad 2. Even still, this was the best of all I reviewed. The keyboard types nicely, charge lasts for many hours, is as light as any of the other keyboards out there and the enclosed case is relatively protective. The iPad goes into sleep mode when closed and a hidden magnetic closure keeps it tightly closed. One of the best features is the removable keyboard, which is unlike many of the other options. The keyboard is small, but not so small it it unusable. Key responsiveness is good, but I am not an expert typist....still, never had any issues with it. As with every other keyboard/case, the viewing angle is a little steep when using this on your lap, but none of the other keyboard cases were any better. Keep in mind that this one can sit on a table or on your lap when in use, whereas, other keyboard cases that have a little stand do not sit well on your lap. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Verilux Modern Deluxe Full Spectrum Desk Lamp, Brushed Steel Review

Nice even cool white colored light for reading. Bought it to replace a halogen desk lamp. Instant on, no flicker, cool and glare free. I thought the full spectrum light was a gimmick. It really is easier on the eyes for reading than the halogen. Lamp does get quite warm, but not as hot as halogen.

Solid construction, instant on, no flicker. Clean lines. Substantially better quality than knock off full spectrums selling between $20-50.00.

Replacement bulbs cost 19.95 from verilux, with no shipping charge. They are supposed to last 10,000 hrs. In my experience some CF bulbs last a long time, others only a few months.. so I guess we'll see about this one.

Tvilum Stewart Bookcase, White Box Review

This bookcase looks really nice when assembled and is one of very few interesting looking low bookshelves on the market at the moment. The price point is extremely good too, especially when you consider that Crate and Barrel or West Elm would charge at least $50 to deliver this kind of item.

Now on to the assembly. It's no worse (nor any better) than any other flat pack furniture. I assembled it on my own in about 2 hours, although once assembled I needed help moving it into position. The only real flaw with the assembly is that the plastic caps covering the screw holes are terrible; I chipped the laminate in a number of places trying to put them on and needed to hammer them in to get them to fit. However, that's a minor quibble for what is a nice looking, reasonable quality and well priced piece of furniture.
