The lamp is quite a bit smaller than i imagined but fits well on my desk leaving room for more important things.
A standard light bulb sticks out too far for my liking and have found a smaller bulb that is concealed by the shade a much better option, i dislike the glare from direct viewing of a bulb. It feels well constructed and is highly adjustable...keep in mind this is a task light for direct illumination of what you point it at, and not for ambient room lighting. The power switch is cord mounted six inches from the base of the lamp.
Ideally suited as a desk lamp, and i'm rather pleased overall. The price is ridiculously low.

This is a nice torchiere; sturdy, attractive and gives a lot of light with low wattage. 70 watts total from 3 bulbs. It has a 3 way switch to select the amount of light.

I bought this from Amazon and paid $43.29. I later picked up another one at Ace Hardware in Cambridge for $17.99!
Note in the assembly instructions, it implies that the clips in the light unit are to be tightened before the glass shade is installed.
I think this is incorrect. The only purpose for the clips is to hold the glass shade in place I would think. Also the bulbs are the twist fluorescent type which are easy to install but may be more difficult and expensive to obtain.

RV Designer Collection E255 3" Angled Metal Plunger Entry Door Holder Review

I bought this item from The Sportsman's Guide through Amazon. It was supposed to be a rv entry door holder but instead it was a door latch mechanism. The clear see through box had never been opened and the label even had a picture of the item I ordered, but the item inside was totally different. This was the fault of the manufacturer, RV Designer, not Amazon or The Sportsman's Guide.
The lady at The Sportsman's Guide customer service was very helpful in getting my money refunded. Since it would cost more to send it back than what it's worth, I got to keep it. I don't have any use for it, so it's totally useless to me. Unfortunately this item is out of stock at The Sportsman's Guide and other sellers want more than twice of what I paid for it. Shipping alone was around $8.00 which is more than the $6.49 I originally paid. I found this item elsewhere for $9.99 with free shipping and that's the best deal I could find. Since it's the same part number from RV Designer, I hope I get the right item this time. I don't know how many of these were mislabeled.
