I converted my office to a stand up desk a few months ago. I wanted to use some kind of rug or mat to soften the standing area to allow me more comfort while standing. I tried a couple different things until I walked on this mat in front of our church, where it is used for its normal purpose. It has a good rebound to it and the rubber spires allow a good amount of give while standing on the mat. If I remove my shoes for a couple minutes, it is almost like a foot massage while standing on the mat. It has made my standing desk much more comfortable. I highly recommend it if you use a standing desk.
