I purchased this lectern to use for teaching classes in our conference room at work. I wanted portability so that I can use it other places as well. I didn't need fancy, I needed reasonably priced and this fit the bill. It looks nice and feels sturdy. The work surface is ample and the height is perfect. I also like the area underneath for hiding my water and other training materials and documents. I added some rubber pads to the bottom so that it doesn't scratch the surface it is sitting on. The only thing I wish they would add is a bag to store and carry it in. I'm afraid of scratching it up while assembling and disassembling. I currently just use the bubble wrap that it came in. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.
