I am a large male that needed a sturdy chair to support my weight while still being comfortable and supportive. The other chairs I have used had become unstable and would wobble while sitting in them. This chair is very solid. It is rated to support up to 300lbs, which is plenty for me.
The chair back can be locked into various reclined positions, which allows for more support of the back when only partially reclined. The mesh back also allows for good air circulation, preventing you from getting overheated, and almost has a cooling effect. Another feature that I really like is the synchro tilt. Basically the back portion of the chair reclines more than the base of the chair, probably close to a 2 to 1 ratio of tilt. This allows the user to recline all the way back while still having their feet touch the ground.
HON is used by large corporations throughout the USA and there's a reason for that. They are very well built and durable. This chair will last a long time. Overall, I am very happy with this chair and would recommend it to other buyers.
