I sit on this chair as I write. I bought it for use on my hardwood floor to avoid the scratching that would come with a wheel-based chair.It is a very good price for the quality you get. I feel it is comfortable as well. It is made of polyurethane.
One note on assembly. If you are not experience with it, I recommend getting help from somebody who has experience. It took me a few days of head scratching to get it together!
